It cost billions of dollars<br/>and much of the cost is in transporting<br/>power than cannot be stored cost<br/>effectively. I’d rather money be spent<br/>building microgrids in neighborhoods, funding solar cells on homes that continuously put excess power back in grid for<br/>a credit balance against use of power when solar isn’t effective. <br/><br/>I am also a huge fan of installation of wind turbines and solar farms at universities to give students hands-on experience on learning about the technology and applying it to their school’s use and production of power.<br/><br/>What do you think?<br/>
